Furthermore, she discusses the social groups she was involved in, and her insights of how the Lehigh Valley has changed over the last decades (particularly Allentown and Bethlehem), such as shopping, commerce, and transporation ; she also talks about how the Bethlehem Steel affected the Lehigh Valley and her own life, and her opinions of what should be done with the Bethlehem Steel land now.

She also describes the Southside in the 1940s, the Portuguese community, including the Portuguese Club, what Hellertown was like when she moved there in the 1950s and the Portuguese community there. She describes her experience being a member of Holy Infancy Roman Catholic Church, and also talks about her husband, children, and grandchildren. Lastly, Isaura describes how she believes the Lehigh Valley has changed over the years, particularly the transporation and culture of the area.

A calendar tracking the sunrise, sunset, moon set and moon's phases for every day in 1879 is tabulated as well.
