Annotation:	This is a transcript of an interview with Mary Puskas, conducted by Kim Fortney on August 21, 1992 for the Lehigh County Historical Society's Oral History Program, Silkworkers Project (Silk #3). In this interview, Puskas describes her childhood in Poland before emigrating to the United States in 1912. She discusses her life in America, where her family eventually settled in the Lehigh Valley, and her work experience as a winder at several Bethlehem-area silk mills.
