The South Bethlehem Greenway : From rail to park [videorecording]

File: QuickTime Movie
Creator: Jason Grear and Joel Atkinson
Annotation: Provides commentary from Darlene Heller, Director, Bethlehem Planning Bureau, and local business owner Andy Po, owner of Homebase Skate Shop, on the development and potential uses of the South Bethlehem Greenway. Rail service along the land now occupied by the greenway came to a halt early in the 21st century and the city of Bethlehem, Pa. subsequently purchased approximately 2.5 miles of the former rail bed from Norfolk Southern Corporation. The greenway is anticipated to provide additional recreational, transportation, and educational opportunities to the citizens of Bethlehem. This short documentary was produced during the 2009 four-day Lehigh University/SouthSide Film Festival workshop.
