The Easton Power Co., by agreement dated May
1st, 1899, secured the rightto use water in addition
to that provided for in the deeds upto a total of 1500
H. P., and the provisions in the deeds in regard to
gauge plates was stricken out. The rate per horse
power for all the water to be $8.50 per year. This
agreement was modified by an agreement dated
Dec. 26th, 1901, which provides for the actual measurement of the water used and a minimum rental
of $5100 to be paid for under all circumstances.
