Several Englishmen have made them-
selves quite celebrated in GARIBALDIs service.
Col. PEARD, known as the famous shot,
was dubbed a Colonel at the capture of Mes-
sina. Col. DUNNE who was one of the
Light Brigade in their celebrated charge
at Balaklava, and was decorated with the
Victoria Cross; and our old acquaintance, Col. FORBES,
of John Brown notoriety, is commandant of the
town and fortress of Melazzo. Capt. STYLES, for-
merly belonging to the English Guards, and a Cri-
mean campaigner, is now in London, recruiting for
the Garibaldian service.
