soup, drum fish, meats and cham-
pagne. Boutelle to be my fellow-
passenger to New York. With him
down the long pier, and aboard
a little steamer, in a violent north
east wind, almost a storm. After
some half hours delay, put off for
the Mississippi. Elwell was there,
