Bellew, Carroll & Hinsdale there.   Brougham
had talk with me.     Paid $5. (Bye the
bye Warren Butler gave me a call, to bor-
row $2 till �next week�, which I lent him.)
Return up Broadway, sunlight.       Off for
Brooklyn by 6.   Dunsier & wife.   Miss
Tamison, Comeygy & afterwards Fagan.
Left at 11.         Met Mac Namara in crossing
the ferry going thither and drank with him.
Anderson and family have been hard put
to it this winter.     Sickness & poverty.
