              Supped at Van N�s, walked to Pattons
with intent to see Richardson, then returned. Davis
called.  Joe called.  Fetched ale, & talked.
  29.  Saturday.  Breakfast at the Rainbow, then
calls, Lockington, Post Office, Mathews &c. Lockingtons
loan not repayed yet, of course.        To Reveille
Office. Saw Mr Charles.      Paid.   To Lantern Office
To Nagle�s, &c    dined, returning by 1/2 past 2.
In doors during afternoon. Weed came with block. Paid
him.  Evening, after supping at the Rainbow, called
at Leonard Street .   Mrs Cunningham alone � her
husband billiardizing at Otis Fields.  Stayed half an
hour, then there, but didn�t find him.    To
room & bed.
  30. Sunday.  Breakfasting at the Rainbow,
then crossed the Fulton Ferry to Brooklyn, and
called on Roberts.     It was nigh upon 11 o�clock,
and he had�nt arisen.   So sitting in the neat
