Abstract
Quelqu'un claims that anyone who disbelieves that "no strong dramatic effect" can be produced without overacting should go see Laura Keene in Aileen Aroon (3). Quelqu'un engages in a lengthy discussion of her performance in the play and her acting in general. He also reports that Victoria, Queen of the Wizards is scheduled to appear at the French Theatre in the next week. Quelqu'un also discusses a "religious farce" held at Trinity Church and ascribes it to "flunkeyism" (3).
