Abstract
Personne begins the Feuillton by stating that he failed to do the duties of a Dramatic Critic during the past week by refusing to see Laura Keene's revival of A Midsummer Night's Dream. To discuss the play, he quotes the "cricket" from the Daily News. Personne discusses the upcoming productions at Keene's and the French Theatre. Personne reviews the current play at Wallack's based on the life of the Earl of Rochester. He also discusses the "row" at the Winter Garden that prompted Mrs. Wood to quit the company and kettle-drum player to be fired before reviewing Bourcicault's Chamouni III. Personne also mentions a "shocking accident" at the Academy of Music.
