This film captures a momentous moment in the history of World War II, chronicling the experiences of black men of the United States Army Air Corps in a war that thought them incompetent. The Tuskegee Airmen defied expectations, proving that nothing was too difficult for them, as they soared through the skies into dogfights with their vibrant “Red Tails,” shooting down the enemy and protecting their own! In addition to aerial battles with the German opposition, the Tuskegee Airmen battled racism and injustice beneath the American flag. Still they rose to the stars with unconquerable souls, achieving great feats during the war, soaring into spots in history, and serving as some of the world’s greatest unsung heroes. “To the last plane, to the last bullet, to the last minute, to the last man,” they fought, they fought, and they fought!
